What is vinobraní?
= grape harvest festival
During September you can notice there are many festivals of wine around the Czech Republic known as vinobraní.You can taste and buy a variety of wines and many traditional Bohemian/Moravian delicatessens. The most popular place for these festivities, where the wine is even produced, is Moravia, Znojmo and Pálava area.
People go there into wine cellars for long weekends. They taste wines and burčák when is its season.
If you cannot get to Moravia, there are many places around the CR as well, where you can take part in these festivities. For example in September there is a wine festival in Prague, in Grébovka Park which I can absolutely recommend. This park is perfect for picnics and there is a breath-taking view of Prague.
